The choice of participants for successive stages of the development of FACE is the responsibility of the curators and those artists already taking part in the project. The distributed curating takes into account differing and often extreme views and concepts during the selection of the next participants.This method enables to keep a balance between stability and complexity of the system. There is no possibility of keeping stable system because the curator/selector function is changing in time (once a month and each new selector can invite no more than 3 new participants).

There is no one central curating idea and one curator who invite participants [but please see ICAC topics] . The initial participants are chosen by the FACE Council.
